yes, before I forget, so that the next time I pick up a club I can remember:

I'd taken a week off, to let my neck calm down and because my swing was dis-improving, (after a spate of progress, it took a few steps back.)

And the week off gave me a fresh perspective.

Somewhere in there I was thinking about keeping my head a little more still, my belt buckle squarer to impact for longer (not spinning out) and my eye on the ball longer as a result. And that last bit, the eye on the ball longer, was the key to the whole thing.

I found myself not trying to follow the flight of the ball as early as usual, but looking at the tee for a (fraction of a second?) short while longer even though the follow through had begun. The feeling was good.

The results were magical, I haven't hit the ball that accurately in a long while. I had to trust it was going where I intended, and it did, and I was able to find that ball flight before I lost sight of it, because it was where I expected it to be, anyway. Make sense?

Well, I have to let the lower back and arm issue irritation/inflammation calm down a while longer.

But when I get back to it, I'll have this note as a reference.
