Yesterday was yet another day of High School Golf team tryouts for me. I only played 9 holes because I just got off of being sick.

It was a doozy of a round, if you can call it that. Scorecard had many-a-4 on it, looking something like this: 4,4,4,7,4,4,4,4,4. I was +4 going to hole 9. Needed to birdie that par 5 in order to shoot another round in the 30's and automatically make the team. I somehow pulled it off with an errant tee shot left, and a steroid-induced 5 hybrid from 230 yards to the left fringe. A horrible chip, and an 8 foot putt got me automatically on the team.

I signed the scorecard, gave it to the coach, and I was out of there. I gave a whole new meaning to 'Hit it and quit it.'

I'm taking the day off today to do some AP work for school, so nothing to report. I'll update you on the 'exciting' goings-on of the season tomorrow.
