Varsity Season began for me today, started out at Cobleskill GC at 8:00. We went through the usual schpeel of day one, all the newbies that were there had to hear So then we FINALLY got out on the range, and boy did that feel good. I hadn't swung a club in 13 days on a course so I was happy just to be there, even though it was drizzling the whole time. We were the veteran group, so we were pretty much left alone, trusted. We hit wedges to 3 irons, and then moved to the practice green. Myself and two others were supposed to play after but the rain kept us off the course until tomorrow. Have an early tee time for practice rounds for the team then another with the same guys around 11. Should be good, my first rounds in 14 days! I will update on the varsity season (hopefully) daily.
