practice round 1 of 2 (friday) three days until the tourney!

Today I played Paradise Valley from the whites (6236 71.0/125) and shot a 92, which is a decent score for me based on my handicap index. The good thing was that I put in a number of pars and one birdie - the kind of scoring which would help in the best-2-of-4 format.

Front 9: par double par birdie quad triple double bogey par.
Back 9: double par double double par bogey bogey par bogey.

I played most of the tee shots on the par 4 and 5 holes with a 3-hybrid. The quad came from spraying a driver OB twice off the tee. I may leave the driver in the bag unless I am sure I cannot get into trouble as the extra length helps.

Saturday is a day of rest, and then Sunday we go down to Monterey and play another practice round at Laguna Seca.
