High School Golf 2010 Season

Another day another nickel.

Yesterday's practice was nothing fancy, so I didn't feel I needed to put up a blog.

Today was a bit different though. We had our first match of the season today. It was a home game, so that helped a lot. I was on fire (en fuego for my spanish brothers) with my putter all day. I lipped out for birdie a couple times in the first 5 holes, and knew if I made just a little adjustment, something would click.

That it did. I bogey'd hole 4, and went birdie, birdie, birdie on 6,7,8. I parred hole 9 to shoot a 34 for our team (-2). It was kind of hollow though because the next lowest score for our team was a 41. We took 3rd place out of 3 teams. I'll give our team the benefit of the doubt because it was windy today, with about 20 mph gusts and a 10 mph average wind. But if this happens again I'm going to egg their houses.

I will do it.

Our next match is thursday.

I've got to go buy some eggs.
