I need an electric ankle bracelet that goes off if I take too long to write a blog post. For all of those actually reading these horrid things, I'm sorry.

Last week wasn't as hectic as I'd expected. The match on thursday was cancelled for god knows what. So that only left the 18 hole invitational on friday.

I went to bed thursday night not feeling so dandy, and woke up friday morning with a 101 fever. Crap. My team needs me.

I decided to go to school for the first 2 periods and left early with the team to go play in the match. A few advil in the morning lasted until 10:30. Not good enough. My tee time was 12:19. I went in the restaurant and bought some tylenol to get me through the match.

It didn't work so well.

Nothing was working that day, and all my swings were half-assed. I ended up with an 87, which is my worst score in a long long time. I probably shouldn't have played, but the team ended up taking my score, which tells you how good everyone else played.

Our next match was yesterday, and was a regular 9 hole match (thank god). I shot a 37, which isn't very good for me. I was +2 thru 6 holes. I birdied 7, and parred in for a 37. I wasn't too happy with it, but I was medalist in the match. We beat the other team by 57 strokes anyway.

Our next match is next thursday. We shouldn't have too much of a problem beating the team, since they only have 1 or 2 good players.

I promise I'll post a blog that day, or the day after. I won't wait.
