First off I would like to say hello as I am new here, but I have been a thread reader just not a poster.  Anyhow, I will be playing in a simulator over the winter just to keep my swing going through out these winter months.  I have a question though, It seems as if it is not an option to hit a driver in the simulator because it does not give the actual distance. For instance, last round I played I hit my driver for the first two tee shots and it said I was only hitting 250, then I switched to only hitting a 3 wood off the deck the rest of the round and was consistantly between 275-280.  Is there any tips or tricks to make the driver pick up better or should I just keep the 3 wood and rip it low?  Thanks, Shawn

I wish I could help you out but the only problem I would have if I was hitting my 3 wood 275-280 would be which one of my friends or family members do I call first to brag about it.

Lol, I am happy with my distance, but I have realized distance is the least important part of the game.  I think I might give my Longdrive driver a chance since it is only 7.5 degrees and see if the lower ball flight helps, it will be interesting though because I have never used it for this purpose, my high school coach would have been mad if I used it on the course over the season. Hopefully it works
