I have planned on buying the Taylormade SuperFast for a while now. However, I could change up and buy the 09 Burner instead, then put the difference in cost towards a Odyssey White Ice #9 AKA Phil's putter. So in lies my dilemma....SuperFast or 09 Burner and White Ice #9. Is the SuperFast worth it on its own?.....what would you do?

I would hit the Burner and the SuperFast and see if there is any difference for your swing.  If the SuperFast is not significantly better, why waste the extra money.

Personally, I tend to lag about 2 years behind on my drivers.  I have been playing a Tour Burner 8.5* and just sold it for a Ping G10 9* with an Aldila Proto ByYou shaft.  I love the feel of that shaft and cam bomb it out there.

Truth be told, manufacturers are doing everything they can to make it look like driver technology is progressing, but unless you are at the top of your game, there's not much to improve.  I am surprised every month when I get the Golf Digest and look at the In the Bag page at how many pros use woods that a several years old.
