Bubba in Slo-Mo

I love how Bubba plays and that every time you watch him you see the creativity come out with some of the shots he creates. I think this kind of thinking is artistry and I have become a fan because he plays golf as he sees it. Yesterday they showed him a few times in slow motion and each time all I could say is Wow! He is something else.

He certainly is a different golfer since he lost that weight. I remember when he came to Australia. He was still a bit roundish, but he hit it a mile. On one par 4 hole he teed up with driver. Drop-kicked it so bad. It only went about 75 metres! He hits 3W onto the green and makes a 20 footer for birdie. Apart from being left handed, I've always had a soft spot for him since then. I just wish he didn't cry after every victory...

His swing has more moving parts than a swiss watch. If he ever went to a swing coach, I don't know what they would do for him. Good thing he is Bubba and he just plays.

I am also a big fan. I love that he does not have a technical swing. He is a natural golfer, he swings his arms they way they naturally swing. No over thinking bullshit. I am the same kind of golfer and he really represents us "non technical types" Even though he beat Louis my countryman, I am really glad he won.

His swing reminds me of Furyk's. Not that they're similar, but that they're both homemade & has moves that you wouldn't teach.

It works great for him, but you wouldn't tell someone to aim into the right rough (for a lefty) & swing so hard that you're on your toes at impact & the right leg re-plants on the follow-through.
