I played Sunday morning at 8:30 AM by myself.  Still a bit breezy and chilly.  I stayed about a hole and a half behind the only other person I could see.  Many things went well.  Balls went straight and far.  Several times they went too far and I overshot my target even though I thought I adjusted clubs to compensate for the wheaties I don't remember eating.  Time on the driving range with the longer hybrids seems to have paid off and using new store-bought balls rather than foundlings also paid dividends.

My new putter on its first round must not have gotten the memo.  It kept me humble and in the normal scoring range.

Dang, an empty course on a Sunday morning? That must have been cold! Its fun playing good golf though isn't it? Sounds like its time to practice some putting... Just imagine how the round would have gone if you were making the putts too!

Sounds like me...  I got out for a quick nine on the back side of my home course.  Hit 6 of 7 fairways (which is unheard of for me) and 4 GIR (again... unheard of).  My lag putting was fantastic and i had better than average sand play.  I even drained a 25-30 footer, with a hard right to left break.  I really like playing alone and not having to wait.  Just me alone with my thoughts on nice soft green grass.

I did not see another person until 14 and they were heading to the 16 tee.  Like yours, the weather was cool but it was just one of those days.  I love it when the golf gods are smiling.
