I am from the UK but live here in FL full time for the last six years, I have many friends come over from Europe, and twice a year (every spring & fall) we play a four round stableford tourny  for a trophy, I was the the two time defending champ, but I have had a strained rotator cuff injury for the last 6-7 weeks but I played through it not wanting to dissapoint my visiting friends.

At the end of the tournament not surprisingly I finished in last place.

Due to my injury I have not posted any of my last 6-7 rounds because I know that it would not be a "fair" post due to my injury.

Should I post the scores? Knowing for certain that it will put my hdcp up significantly due to the bad scores!!!!

Two weeks later, after the tournament has finished and I have rested my shoulder for a week, I go out today with one of my friends from Europe and shoot a 79, with an 8 on a par 3, we were playing for money so had to play everything down etc.

I shot 37 on the front 9 with three birdies, opened the back 9 with another birdie, we get to the 14th hole, a par 3 (I'm even par for the round) and the guy I'm paying with asks me if I had anything in my bag for a headache. I got out my little pill bottle containing some Aleve, he asks me if it contained any Ibuprofen, so I took off my sun glasses and put on my reading glasses to read the label for him, without thinking when the green cleared, I tee'd it up and put my ball in the water, I re- teed and put another one in the water, I re-teed again, missed the green, then realised I was trying to hit the ball with my reading glasses on!!!!! I ended up with an eight on a par three. I finished the last four holes bogey, par, bogey, par. So, with an 8 on a par 3, I still shot 79 gross with an ESC score of 76.

If you're certain your health will improve and you'll be back at your normal playing level then leave them out.   If you think you'll be down and out for a long time then put them in.

I am pretty confident that my shoulder injury was just a "glich in the system" and now that I have rested, and will probably rest for another week that normal service will be resumed lol. about half of my friends say I should post them and the other half say I should not because I was playing injured.

If I post them all, and we are talking of at least seven rounds, I know that my hndcp would go up to at least 14, but the next time out I would feel that I was being dishonest, if that makes sense?

You only have to look at todays round, apart from the par 3, I played with my reading glasses on!!!!, I was was solid and played to under 12.
