From Michigan... heyyy!

Hey everyone,

Name's Jake, I'm 16 from Caledonia, Michigan. Been around forums for over 3 years on countless sites. Mainly with video games. Also into computers and tech, just finished my first custom build (been researching for 2 years.) Played hockey for 7 years, been really into golfing the past 6+ years. Been wanting to join a golf forum so I chose this one.

Quick run down of my set. I have a set of Ignite irons from around 2 years ago. Along with that I also got a Taylormade R7 Quad driver, Tommy Armour EVO 3 wood, Taylormade R5 5 wood, Taylormade R7 sand wedge, Dunlop 56 degree wedge (I use as a lob wedge for now) and a Taylormade Rossa Daytona putter. Nike Dry Fit glove and I like to use Bridgestone e series golf balls as well. I just as of today sold my R7 and bought a Burner from 2007 as I was starting to lose my like for the R7. It was good for when I didn't have as much power as I do now, but I couldn't hit what I wanted to anymore. 11.5 degree loft is too high for me.

The Burner driver is just amazing for my swing. For example this weekend I hit 275 with my 3 wood (almost got my first eagle that hole,) and I couldn't hit over 250 with my R7 anymore. With the Burner I've been able to hit 300+ straight and narrow. Even though it's the demo version from 2007 it's still amazing.

Anyway, I'll be popping in here and again. This looks like a cool site and I think I'll enjoy it :)
