New driver on the way!!!

Can't wait for next week's newest arrival!! I have a new driver on the way.  :)

I had a fitting on the July 4th, and the guy was pretty helpful. Measured swing speed averaged at 89.5mph (I am fairly aggressive; I consistently hit 200yds with my #3w last week). I tried about a half dozen different makers, but the one club that really stood out and simply felt good was the Cobra S3. It's being custom made at Cobra -1", but the anticipation is killin' me!

I was really surprised by Callaway - no matter what shaft I tried, it seemed too "mushy" like a marshmallow. The Burner felt like a boat during the transition from backswing to downswing, like it was just floating there for a second. And I really didn't care for the feedback produced by Cleveland, Ping or Titleist. I went in to the fitting stating that I really didn't want to know who the maker was, or the price tag associated with it - I was determined to get a driver that felt good. And the Cobra did just that - it just felt like solid, explosive impact each time.

Good stuff. I went through a similar experience, except as a lefty, I had to go the component route twice before lucking out with my stock 910D2. Sounds like you'll be happy with your decision.
