I see these guys at my local golf courses and I wonder how to get into some kind of career in golf. What kind of option s are there besides being a club pro and getting into actual tournaments. I am a certified personal trainer and was possibly thinking of specializing in golf oriented strength training or somthing of the sort, but I dont know if that what be a type of job a Country Club would be ooking for. Any opinions and thoughts would be appreciated. Im looking for any info on getting into the golfing world.

Well, first thing... be sure to have someone proofread your CV and spell check it.

New here, and I'm just a golf Mom. Since you're a certified personal trainer, I'm assuming in golf training/fitness, you may want to look at private fitness centers. I had a heck of time finding a trainer that was willing to work with my son at a fitness center. Most trainers want to add bulk, that's not what his pro wanted for my son. We want length and flexibility, and cardio. His fitness trainer that took forever to find, now works with my sons pro as my son grows, and changes. It has worked out great for us. Just a thought, good luck.

~disclaimer~ I'm just a golf mom.
