For certain carriers it is available. Direct TV doesn't have it yet, and boy am I waiting for it!

Comcast has it in my area. It is a split channel between Versus HD and Golf Channel HD. Anytime golf is available in HD it takes priority over the Versus programming.

I've got Direct TV, too. I love watching golf in HD...hell I like watching anything in HD.
