Is the Sun Mountain Three 5 a decent bag?

Currently I use a big Titleist cart bag on a Speed Cart but my van broke down this week so I'll be driving my Miata for awhile and I can't fit both easily.

I'm kinda cheap so I like to walk my local course and was thinking of getting a stand bag with good carry straps. Well as luck would have it some guy on Craigslist won a 3/5 in a bar and flipped it for $20. This bag retails for $180 and I scored it for only 20! Still has the tags on it.

So should I resell it or game it?

Is there currently a far better carry bag available? Ping Hoofer or SM Four 5 perhaps?

Thanks.

Edit: Sorry, not sure how I posted this in the club section and not the bag forum.

was going to ask about fitting a bag in the trunk of a miata since im thinking of buying one, but as it turns out, google is my friend.  either way, this topic is of interest to me.  my callaway bag is starting to tear up, and i need a good light carry bag.

Cart or carry bags fit OK in a Miatas trunk providing you remove the driver and nestle it in by itself. A second bag will fit nicely behind the seats with the top down but be careful if you have a glass rear window under that soft top.

    • Nah, sometimes a few inches can change a shot from not possible to entirely possible (like if a ball is right behind a small sapling or something).
    • I have seen many videos of tour trucks at PGA tournaments. They can build a club in minutes. For epoxy they usually use 3M DP810 and then a heating gadget to get the epoxy cured in minutes so the player can go hit balls immediately. But my question is about the grips. What do they do so the grips can also be used immediately to go hit balls? Normally grips require a few hours to be ready. Can somebody explain? Thanks
    • I guess I was just struggling with how much the relief granted me as opposed to a normal situation where a difficult might be made easier, in this case no shot was given a shot.
    • I purchased a set of Pro's last year but sold it. They are nice clubs and I love Mizuno, but they are very strong lofted and I am a senior with a slow swing speed. Had difficulty getting the ball up in the air. Strong lofted irons are not for slow swing speed players. Preferred the Hot Metal High Launch model.
