Well ill start out with a little about me. My grandpa got me into golf when i was in elementary school. He purchased me a new set of clubs and got me into lessons every summer at two different clubs and even private lessons one year.  He however never played golf but he thought that it is an important thing to learn to do in life. I won a small youth tourney for the kids my age at the course but never really played in any other competitions or anything. Fast forward to today, i have been away from golf for years. I dont know why but it just worked out that way. Now 20 (almost 21)  I recently started looking for a set to get back into the game and came across a set my aunt had and let me have. Tommy Armour irons and callaway driver and 5 wood. They were in a flood and had a really nasty smell in the grips so i regripped them and now all is good. That is except for my game. I have been out twice and can see improvement but its still nothing to write home about. Hopefully i can learn a lot on here to improve my game. Thanks for having me !

I took some time off (almost ten years) and am back.  My swing is different now so the first thing that I had to address was the right to left ball flight rather than the controlled fade that I had for years.  I've only played three rounds in four months due to some time restrictions but I'm on the range twice a week.  Being able to work on different things and trying to regain muscle memory and a reproducible swing is most important to me.  I've seen some improvement each time on the course but I think that I'm getting better every time that I go to the range.  For me it's harder to improve on the course than with the repitition I get with practice.  My advice?  Although it's a lot more fun to play than practice it's on the range where I can better gauge the improvement in my swing and ball flight.  Good luck!
