I've been playing with a budget Maxfli Revolution set since Christmas, trying to get my game back after a long hiatus. I've really been wanting to upgrade to something better, and I've had my eye on some Adams A7os irons. I've been watching the prices, and the set of hybrid irons with the Speedline F10 driver/3/5 woods was marked down $100 at Golfsmith. I finally decided to grab them, and did a quick online search where I found them at $150 under the sale price at Golfsmith with no tax or shipping. I decided to take that along and see what happened. I didn't have much faith that they would match it, since the online price was at a site that wasn't clear whether they were an authorized retailer. I've read a bunch of places on here where Golfsmith didn't match it if they weren't. I showed the printout to the sales guy, and he said the same thing. But he offered to call and find out for me. Less than 5 minutes later, he came back and said they'd match it. I was pleasantly surprised and happily took the clubs home with me. I ended up saving a total of $250 off the regular price. I still had to pay tax, so I spent a little more in the long run, but I felt good about keeping it a local sale since I'm in that store all the time to browse. It was a great overall experience and they'll be getting my business in the future over the PGA superstore that's right around the corner from them.

    • I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..
    • Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.
    • I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
