Because New York was basically closed down due to the threat of Hurrican Irene, a group of guys got together and decided to play ball hockey right on the main drag in New York.

I have a satellite system that picks up "feeds" from the network. (ABC News).

They were having a great time and then the police showed up to break it up.

They then lined up like they do on t.v. and shook hands with the opposing team and left.  It was funny.

Even the police were amused.

I was surprised at how many people were out on the streets wandering around in spite of the threat.   This was at 2.30 a.m. Sunday morning.
