Henry-Griffitts Wedges

I picked up a Henry-Griffitts custom grind 56 degree wedge.  I have used Vokey wedges for several years.  The Vokey 56 degree wedge was magic to me.  I thought it could not get better.  I had such good luck with my Griffitts clubs I decided to try the wedge.

They will custom grind it in several different ways depending on how you use it.  Mine was "Tour ground".

I had it out on the course yesterday and it was empty so I was able to try lots of different shots from different lies.  I think I have found a winner.  I had great success controlling balls out of the rough.  The club is noticeably heavier then the Vokey, that may have had something to do with it.  I was also able to hit great shots from tight lies.  High, low, drop and stop it was very impressive.

I hope it not a great Honeymoon kind of thing because this will definitely help my game.
