putter offset?

Ive been pulling alot of putts im using a ping anser 34'' i just bought a cleveland classic 2 35'' it hardly has any offset should this help or is this just a preference thing ? also its more toe down than the anser i putted well at the store with it any input on this.

Depends on your putting stroke I'd think.  If you're in-to-in (like a straight iron shot), then in theory it could help.  I've been using the same putter for years, and I have days where I pull too many putts.  Given you're a 5 HC you obviously have had times in the past where you didn't pull most of your putts, so I'd venture that the new putter isn't the best long term fix, and it'll just require lots of time on the practice green.

Yeah it seems i have an arc to my putting stroke i know one thing the 35'' feels alot better because im 6'2'' i have better posture with it so im hoping i putt better. The cleveland feel more solid off the face witch i like i havent had a new putter in 5 years so im excited to play with it.

If you feel more comfortable with the new putter, then obviously that's great.  Maybe the fact that the new putter's longer and changes your setup and stance a bit will be the best effect, as that forces you to re-dial things in with some forced changes.  That new setup and stance being more comfortable with the longer shaft could also help make your stroke more reliable in the long run.

Thats what im thinking maybe ill start breaking 80 more haha :)
