I currently have a Cameron Newport 2 with the German Stainless Steel insert, but having some trouble with 4-8 footers lately.

The Squareback 2 looks like it might be easier to line up on the short ones.  Does anyone have any experience with this putter?  Feel, ease of line-up, distance control ease, and any other advice from folks who have tried this?  I'm a committed Cameron guy, so it would take an earthquake to move me to something else.

Thanks,

Rob

I have a squareback 2 that I sent to the SC Custom Shop to get the site line milled into the topline. It definitely helps with lining up putts.

As for feel, you get the same feel as the other putters in the studio select series. One thing that may be an issue (or at least take some getting used to) is that the Squareback 2 is almost completely face balanced, which is different than the newport 2
