So at the range today I decided to see if I did any better or worse with different grips.

I tried the overlapping, split ("baseball"?) and interlocking grips.

For the life of my I dont see any real difference. The ball went just as straight and just as far with all of them.

The only difference I have seen is that shorter pitch shots seemed to do SLIGHTLY better with the split grip than the others. But I think its because there is just a bit more 'feel' to the club with that grip than the other two.

Is all the hype about grip style being critical genuine or just someones opinion?
