Spin on wedges

What's the most efficient way to teach yourself to get spin on your wedges? I understand that with time you would learn to do this naturally, but I'm wondering how to accelerate this process, and once you get it down, how to adjust the amount of spin that you put on the ball.

U hafta hit ball first always,then turf.Put ball back in ur stance as well,that will help with the ball 1st issue.

Spin's all from swing speed, loft, and angle of attack.  You can hit spinnier shots by putting the ball back in your stance (or arriving at contact with an overly extreme forward press, which accomplishes essentially the same thing), but really, for a stock shot done properly with the hands a bit in front of the ball at contact, ball struck first on the sweet spot, and a divot (so ball hit with a somewhat descending blow), the only way to increase spin is to increase club head speed at impact.

At our level (not scratch or close), the best way to increase average spin is probably just to improve ball striking, so hit the ball on the sweet spot more often.  That's assuming that your general mechanics are right and you're not flipping and such.

Learning to hit down on the ball is the best way to learn how to put spin on it.  For a lot of people, the concept of hitting down to make the ball do up is difficult to grasp.
