Forgive me if this theme has already been posted or addressed in another thread, but is there a difference between the 2006 Callaway ball line up and the 2007 line up other than a repackaging? I am particularily interested in hearing from anyone with experience with the newest version of the HX Hot. Thanks.

While I am pleased to know what Golf Digest thinks of the new HX Hot, and I thank you for the information, I am more interested in what those who have played with those balls think of them. Anyone out there with some experience with these orbs?

the new HX hot is a little soft and spins a bit more, good ball for the buck. Actully like the feel better than the HX tour

Thanks for the input. Anybody else have experience with the 2007 version of the HX Hot?

My playing partner uses them all the time. He loves them. He has a slower swing speed, and he gets good distance with it and says he likes the soft feel around the greens.

I use them and love them. I get good distance with them (Swing Speed is high 80s). They also seem to have less spin so I can keep in the fairway. I really like the feel around the greens, I was very surprised with the way they felt in that area. The Hot took me away from NXT

i use the big bertha ball and i like it. i used and hx hot yesterday and it definitely does fly off the driver! i like the softer feel of the bb around the greens so i'm going to stick to it.
