Practice swings are pretty useless to post... You really need to be hitting a ball.

I love the waggle...its a very important part of the set up, its keeps you loose and moving.  You dont want to be a statue and then swing....

Anyways, your swing plane looks pretty good...you can see your club go right over the corner of your shoulder (so thats good, as long as your club face is square, you should hit it straight).

You look like your swinging too slow, i know everyone says to stay slow, but you look like you have the basics, down, just swing a little quicker and clear your hips quicker. If you clear your hips quicker, you will strike the ball much better, and the ball will go farther (i know you didnt hit a ball in this video, but i bet you dont hit it very far).

It also doesnt look like you transfer your weight very much.  This is what you do with your legs, its not a latteral movement with your legs, but a weight transfer (kind of difficult to learn but just practice and it will come.

All in all, you do have a pretty good swing, but like i said i would just transfer your weight, clear your hips quicker and swing quicker...dont swing out of your shoes, but you gotta find the median where you can swing as hard as you can without sacrificing accuracy...and i think you can go faster.

Keep practing though, it looks good!

Thanks for the replies guys (especially Tiger90).  I will attempt a video hitting a ball soon.  This was my first attempt at a video.

Tiger90 - You are right, I do not hit it very far. I am 6'8" and my clubs are extended so I should be able to hit it a lot farther than I am currently.  My Driver is roughly 220 carry, the 4H is 185 carry, down to PW at 105. I have been trying to keep it slow due to getting over extended at the top and/or lunging at the ball.  Again, I will try and take "real" videos soon and post them up.  Thanks again.

That is awesome man.  Looks way better than your first video...i love the speed.

The first video, DTL, it looks like you come over the op on the way down, i.e swing outside in and this promotes a slice.  SO if you sliced it there that is why.

Try to flatten your downswing and try to hit from inside to out.  If you think of the ball as a clock, and 6 oclock is where you would hit striaght on, you are currently hitting it at 5 oclock and that causes a slice.  Try to hit the ball at 7 oclock, close your clubface and you should draw the ball.

If you didnt slice it then forget what i said lol, but it defitnly looked like you came over the top and sliced it...

Keep it up!

Tiger90

Yep, the first two swings (DTL) both had a "fade" not a slice though.  I fade almost everything.  I am working on it, but it is a slow go :)  Thanks again for the pointers.
