Hello, first off just wanted to introduce myself, first time poster, I have been looking for a good golf forum lately and heard this is the place.

I have a full set of vintage ping red eye irons.  They are actually in pretty good shape too!  Does anyone know anything about these clubs?  I've heard by some people that they might be worth something...  But other people have told me that they are only worth something if they are a certain type of old ping red eyes?

I also have an old ping 'my day' that has turned pretty cool colors over the years.

Anyways, I need new clubs this year, so I am trying to sell these to help with the funds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much.

The red dot on the Ping Eye irons simply signifies the lie angle.

The original Ping Eye irons were introduced in the late 70's.  And then became one of the best selling irons in the game with the introduction of the Ping Eye 2 irons in the 80's.

Right now on Ebay, you can find a set of original Ping Eye irons 3-PW for a 'Buy it Now' price of $126.00.

I know the Beryllium Copper Ping Eye 2 and Zings were more rare, and sell at a higher price than the standard steel heads...
