so this is nothing new... they want to nickel and dime you in fees.

but it annoys me that i book online for one price and then i get there and they want to charge me an additional fee for the gps unit that is built into the cart....

wait why is that not just part of their cart fee?...

well cause then they would not be able to advertise their "low" price as competitive is my guess.

while the fees are usually not much 3-7$.... i have started telling them when they ask for it that i dont need gps...and even going so far as to tell them to take the unit off the cart(which is ridiculous i know but it drives home the point).

In addition I say that they should not of charged my cc online for the cart and green fee knowing that additional fees are coming.

Also i have a golf gps/scoring app on my phone that i use anyway.

most places they have relented without much fight and skip the gps fee after I object to it.

it's not that i am cheap...ok well maybe i am but it is more that they are being deceptive in my mind.

rant off.

has anyone else noticed/done something similar?
