Help me decided between these two sets, both the same price, $250. I have played before but not in 10 years or so, even then it was rare that I shot less than a 100 over 18 holes. Don't want to drop big $$.

I'm wondering if they are both the same clubs, with different logos. First set is from Costro second they have at my local Dick's Sporting Goods.

If not these maybe used clubs, for $350 or less would I might be able to find for a complete set?

I have set $350 limit for now becauce not sure I'll stick with it. In a couple years if I'm still at it these clubs would hit the yard sale and then look toward a high-end set. If I don't stick with it, no worries.

Thanks

I'd hit a golf shop (is there a Golf Galaxy in your area) and look for used clubs--odds are you can find a high-end set of clubs that someone barely used, for half off, or more.

Check out Edwin Watts. They have a good used department and they offer discontinued iron sets that are brand new for very low prices. You could put a very good set of clubs together for $350 to $450, if you are willing to blend a set consisting of used and discontinued clubs. Last year's Cobra irons and hybrids are particularily good values. Good luck.

When I click on the "golfio" link you posted, I get an "HTTP 404 This website cannot be located" message . . . so I can't review the 2nd set of clubs or compare them to the 1st set.
