just wondering if you guys had a maximum stroke allowed per hole. Like ESC or the Double Par rule? thanks!

We always used 8 as the maximum allowable strokes per hole.

I'm a junior in high school and on our team due to the average Par 4 being 420 yards, we use 10 as our maximum before we pick up, shorter holes I would recommend 8 as a maximum.

I must be getting really old, our maximum was whatever your actual score was. But that was 30 years ago

In North Carolina we play triple bogey is max, and usually if I triple it's a tapin triple, but some of the guys I have played with aren't even on the green et and pick up. So I'm thankful for the triple bogey rule or else we would be there all day! haha
