I understand that flex is a relative term and each company will have their own standards,

but in general would a regular flex graphite shaft from company "X" be a tad more flexible than a regular flex steel shaft from

the same company?

I wouldnt say that the flex would be more with graphite but you could say that the kick point is different and the shaft is lighter overall, so you will get more distance and clubhead speed.
