Hi everyone.  I'm a beginning golfer from NJ.  The most I ever did was play a little at Club Med years ago and some mini-golf.  Kind of Ironic as I live 10 minutes from the Crystal Springs golf courses.  My wife's friends husband is a major golf enthusiast who is helping us get into the sport.  Looking to pickup some gear for the both of us and to start hitting the driving range and courses soon.  I hope to meet other enthusiasts and pick up lots of information on this site.  See you in the forums...

Greetings, A few weeks ago my GF had to go to a two day Seminar, Tues/Wed. At Rutgers. I went along and Played Bunker Hill on Tues., which was nice, and Played Quail Brook on Wed. which I really liked. So much so that when we went back on Friday for her to take her exam I drove to Quail  Brook and purchased a course wind breaker. After that we toured the USGE Museum, Highly recomended, plan on being there more than the two hours the website said the tour would take.

She attends this seminar every two years. I'll go along next time and got to Quail brook again for sure.

      Day 237 (26 Dec 24) - played 18 with niece and her husband at one of the local courses.  We were first out - so we pretty had our own pace of play.  First few holes were a struggle, but the groove started by hole 5.  The green side wedge game kicked in - had several kick in up and down pars.  Best of the day - had my first ever sandie birdie on #9. It’s a neat par three with a pot hole bunker - found it off the tee.  Had about a 22yd shot from the bunker to the flag.  Hit an easy shot out with the 54 that hit softly and gently rolled center cup.  Had several other close wedge shots into others that were close but no hole out.  Was a great day with the green side wedge game - and seeing solid fruit from the drills.

      Day 16: 12/26/2025 A little more mirror work today. Then out to the garage net.  The first part of my PPJ swing thought is really starting to stick. The J still takes some focus. Plus, I'm still putting a priority on getting all the way to my finish.
