Changed My Grip And Now I Have A Finger Thats Killing Me

My left hand which is my glove hand. Well I changed to an overlap and now my index finger (finger closest to thumb?) is rubbing in a way that is killing me. If I wasn't hitting the ball as solid as I had ever had. So, is their a glove that will offer some king of protection for this finger. Any tips would be nice. My friend that helped with the change told me it will get more comfortable. He golfs with no glove so you should see his hands, blister central. Thanks for any tips.

Same happend to me as i changed to overlapping a few days ago - it burned a bit in the beginning and you cant really use tape in that spot cuz you have to bent the finger so i decided that i have to keep up with the pain until the skin at that part got used to it.

      I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
