I've been Playing Golf for: 18 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 10.4 (83)

My typical ball flight is: Straight to slight-fade

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: slight-fade; create a draw

[note: I used SwingPlane HD on my iPad to film. If anyone has any tips on creating better videos, please advise. Also, I couldn't figure out how to upload the slow motion view of the video ... if anyone knows how I will upload those so it's easier to see the swing. All comments, suggestions, etc are welcomed and thanked]

Thanks MVMAC!

I went to the range last night after a softball game (excuse the shorts) to get some more shots. Below are side and rear shots for Driver, 3 Wood and 6 I. All comments welcome and thanked.

A couple of things I noticed was that you were snatching the club head back to the inside way too fast.  You have to feel like your hands go in and your club head stays outside your hands.  Another feeling I use is that on the start of the back swing feel that your right hand stays on top of the left hand and that your left hand points to the ground to start the swing.

Also, if you want to hit more draws, have your shaft lean more towards the target at address, and try to replicate this at impact.  More shaft lean towards the target.

No, you have about 10 minutes after initially post to edit, long enough to be useful but not so long that someone can make a comment and "change history" by changing it later.

    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
