Something I heard years ago and it holds true… if you have a 3 wood you can hit well, don’t ever get rid of it. -

Anyway you get there it's fine. The old saying about no pictures on the score card. Honestly, carry or with roll out doesn't matter. 200 yards with a fairway wood is long enough to play good golf. -
