Yesterday my buddy and I waited for the rain to pass in the club house before starting our round.  They would not allow carts out right away so my buddy asked if I would be willing to walk (he walks all the time).  One of my goals this year was to start walking some rounds instead of riding so I agreed to walk the front 9.  At 42 with bad knees I was worried but by the 3rd hole I realized it was not bad.  I even carried my bag the whole 9, which my buddy was impressed with.  We did get a cart for the back 9 but I now know I can walk 9 easily and would like to start doing it more.  The one thing I noticed was that my shoes were not really good walking shoes for golf.  I am partial to Nike shoes and was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation on a good Nike golf shoe that is made for also walking.

In my bag:

Driver: Covert Performance
Super Hybrid : :nike: 2H - 17* Covert Performance

Irons: :nike:Covert 4I - PW

Wedges: :nike:X3X Wedges (52*, 56*, 60*)

Putter: Method Core 1i

Ball: :nike:One RZN

I can't help you out with the Nike shoes but I can tell you the Puma's I wear are the best golf shoe's I've ever owned.  Much better then FootJoy and Addida's

I'm a huge fan of the spikeless shoes, currently own the Footjoy Contour Casual, Oakley Ripcord, and ECCO Street.  Of those the Footjoy fit me the best, but I would suggest trying a couple different kinds.  I've played in a variety of conditions with all of those shoes, the Footjoy and ECCO have the best traction, I've played them on dewy mornings and in a huge rain storm without any issues.  The Oakley are great for walking, they are by far the lightest, but the traction on them is not as good as the other two.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?
