Bag performance upgrade question

Currently I have a driver and my next longest club is a 21 degree 4 iron that I hit all over gods country. I have been looking into a 15 degree 3 wood and maybe a 19-20 degree hybrid and dropping the 4iron. Wise thinking or any other suggestions?

Another thought I had was a 14 degree 3 wood with a 17 degree hybrid, would give ideal 4 degree difference all the way up to my wedges

You might consider a 17* 4W - easier to hit for the average golfer than a 4W.

As bridge clubs into the irons, you might go with a 3 hybrid (21*) and a 4 hybrid, or a 7W and a 4 hybrid.

Test out some clubs and see which ones you hit best. You might try just a 4W and used 3H to start - don't want too many new toys at once.

( Note: Mfgr's reps from both Callaway and Adams cautioned me that a 17* hybrid is difficult for the average player to hit - not enough clubhead speed; most Hs with this loft come in special Pro or Tour models).

I would add a 3W first,  and a hybrid, but IF possible maybe adding a 3iron could work.
