I'm keeping the driver, 4-wood, 19* hybrid, and 4-PW (and obviously putter). I think I'm going to take my 3 iron out of the bag because it's 20* and the 4 is 22* and neither come into play very much. You can see what I have now in my signature. I have thrown around a lot of options with adding a 22* hybrid or adding a wedge. I'd like to add a wedge, and my PW is 45* and I've got 52 and 58 right now. I'm willing to replace my 52 and 58 with maybe 50, 55, and 60. Here's my breakdown of distances. Tell me what you think.

D-280
4 wood-250
19*-220
4-190 (carry)
5-180
6-170
7-160
8-150
9-140
PW-130
52*-110-115
58*-100

I'm thinking that if I went to three wedges I could go 100, 110, 120. Any advice will be taken into account and appreciated!

Thanks a lot,
Ryan

I have a similar set up to you. I carry 4 wedges (PW, 52, 56, 60). My rationale was to have all the yardages covered from 130 and in. I figured I would have better chances at birdies/lower scores with the extra wedge versus the 3 iron.

Ditch the 19* and put a 3 iron in your bag. I think I'm really going against the grain on this one, but long irons are so money. As to wedges, three is fine - but if you want to make exactly matching distance gaps, try to replace your 52 with a 51 or 50. I play with three myself, and would have four if I didn't need my 5 wood. (My 3 wood trajectory couldn't clear a tree to save my life).
