As everyone knows, when you are pickig a new set of golf clubs, you want to make sure they are perfect for you before you go and invest hundreds of dollars into it. Sadly, i do not know the first thing about fitting golf clubs, but i was wondering if anyone knows where to go to get them fitted? Can you just go down to a golf club and ask to get someone that works there to fit them for you? Or is that abit far-fetched? Also, i dont live in one of the major cities of my country so i dont have the executives from taylormade and callaway walking the streets. Thanks guys, any help would be appreciated! (: P.s i am looking to get fitted for a set of irons, and possibly a hybrid.

Most any reputable golf store has the ability to perform a good fitting.  I purchased my clubs at Golfsmith and they took a lot of time getting it right for me.  But, other places such as Golf Galaxy, Golf Headquarters, or even Dick's if they have the clubs you want.  Personally I would go to a place that specializes in golf, like I said Dick's is okay, but they wouldn't be my first choice.  It is important that you get fitted, so even if you have to travel a little ways it will be worth it.

getting fit for clubs really isnt rocket science.  it is important, but it doesnt take stephen hawking to do it.  Dicks would be fine.
