Magic Jack = Any use it

Looking at getting rid of my land line and replacing with the Magic Jack.  Anyone have experience with this thing?

Yea, but its using your DSL, converts to digital, which means most fax machines won't work, which is the main reason I got it.... Other then that voice works fine, can't beat the price. If your lucky u can get a custom # from google voice in your area code and forward it to your new magic jack number.

If you have Internet access at your house... Just use Google Voice for free.  Setup a Gmail account (Google Email) - and then sign up for a Google Voice phone number.  Both are free.  You can call anywhere in the continental US or Canada - for free.  Unlimited talk time.

You can also have Google Voice forward calls to your mobile when you're out of office or away from home.  I've been using it for my home office line... And it works flawlessly.  And it saves me at least $20 to $30 a month.
