looking for spin?

I recently purchased a set of Gauge Design GAS II 52 and 58 wedges.
I read about them in one of the dozen golf magazines as a hot item.
From what I've learned gauge is a putter maker in CA.
Anyway I looked all over and then called the manufacturer and was told to get these I would have to contact someone in Japan.
A search of ebay got me a set from Tokyo.
You need to check these things out. The face is milled with a circul;ar pttern that stops the ball on a dime. Throw the ball on the slickest of greens and it stops dead. They are however hell on balls.

Anyone esle tried these?

Haven't even heard of the Gauge Design, but if they're anything like you describe I'll be looking to purchase. Now I just need to hear another couple of people proclaim how great they are, and then I'm all in.

Isn't that the same milled face as the Volkey Spin Milled?
