Just recently I decided to really buckle down on my golf swing. I have been trying to rotate my hips some more and let them lead my swing more. I have also really been hitting a lot of balls. When now it seems I have come up with a pinched nerve. Went to the chiropracter she said my back was extremely tight and I received treatment. I have another appointment this coming up monday.

A couple of questions I have

1. Is less more? Should I not practice is much. I am frustrated because I want to have a more pro swing and it seems like to get that I need to really practice, but I can't because my body seems to break down.

2. I am working with one guy but he is expensive so I only go so often. I like what I have learned from him, but I can't seem to bring my hands before the club. I am starting to think it is impossible for me to do that. And when I try to do that I hit sloppy balls.

3. Do clubs wear out. It seems my X-14's are about done. My 4 iron head as spun on the shaft. And my 5 iron iron shaft broke and it looks like at the bottom that the club is a little off line.

Sometimes this game seems like it's not worth it. Too damn frustrating and tears your body up lol.

If it is putting strain on your body, take it easy, you can still work on what you have but just do a little less, as the body gets older it cant take as much obviouslly.

Clubs definatly wear out, if your clubs are getting old, (grips losing grip, clubs feel a little short, clubs breaking) if you have the money, treat yourself, also try ebay if you really feel you need some new clubs. Just dont put anymore hurt on your body testing those new clubs out :P

I agree with what you are saying but it's easier said than done. I am really trying hard to put a good swing together. I want to establish one. I guess some people have an easier time doing that than others.

Establishing a swing takes time, it is not something you can do overnight or over a week. You have around what? Months of golf to come and over that time even if you practise for at least 2-3 times a week you will definatly have it down. Just take a little break to heal your nerves and youll be back in no time. A little break wont hurt your practising time.
