I am currently scheduled to spend several weeks over the next few months in the Seattle, WA area (specifically Bellevue / Redmond)  and I am looking for golf'ish' things that I can do to kill some time.

I plan to travel with my clubs occasionally and will likely play after work on those days, however on the weeks when I leave my clubs at home, does anybody have a suggestion on things I can do?  I am left handed, so a premium range with decent rental clubs / indoor golf simulators, etc.

I would prefer something that I can pay for (going to a store to demo clubs is fun, but the volume at which I am hoping to accomplish it might be considered stalking)

So anything that you can recommend I am all ears.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

*Update*

I have visited both golf stores in the area.  Puetz and Pro Golf.

Both stores had a good selection, and both stores let him demo clubs with very little pressure.  One provided a foresight simulator, and the other a guy watching my swing offering suggestions (I wouldn't go as far as to say a lesson, but a friendly story, and demo clubs still managed to kill an hour)

I have also visited 2 golf courses and 2 driving ranges while I have been there.

The courses I played were Bellevue and Wayne public

The driving ranges were Redmond and Bellevue

I throughly enjoyed Bellevue.  The course isn't very long but has alot of grown in tree's and is very hilly.  If I remember, I believe that I shot a 49/45 with a snowman on the first and last holes.

I played Wayne after that, but wouldn't play it again.  The played it backwards (10-18 followed by 1-9)  I would play the front 9 again, but would skip the back 9.  The back 9 is entirely shot of off matts.  The matts were old and being left handed, I was forced to hit off of the side of the matts that were caked in mud.  The front 9 was far more fun, but it had gotten dark by that point in time, and I lost several golf balls as a result.

Next time I visit, I hope to visit Wolfs run as I have been told it is a very nice course.
