Hi Guys,

As a rank beginner (emphasis on Rank) I read too much, think too much, and play way too poorly. I waited till I turned 50 last year to decide to get hooked on golf. Right now its sort of a love/hate relationship I am hoping to improve. I hope you guys and ladies are willing to help out. Regards, Ron

That seems to be the way this game works as near as I can tell. I'm having the most fun with golf that I ever have but have so far to go. I think thats the way of it. This has been a helpful forum to me in many ways.

Welcome to The Sand Trap! It is great to have you here, and you are pretty solid it seems for just starting..

This place has helped me really get my passion for the game of golf back, and I'm really happy about that. I was going through some downtimes with golf the last couple years, but I am back on an all-time high right now.

So hopefully, you will learn a little here and have some good ol fun!
