All,

Anyone hear of this thing, and is the theory behind it any good? I first heard of it after reading a few pages of it in Golf Digest  from the author of the full book. In the first picture, he's swinging a driver that trails flames, and in the second picture he's dressed up like a circus performer. I think it's all about developing mental images that help reinforce sound swing principles. Just wondering if anyone's heard of this thing. Maybe I'll buy the book and post a review, but it may be a while.

I saw this article too. In short, it was just a visual way to try and understand movements in the golf swing and kinetic energy.  I guess it could be good if you like to visualize things that way.  The downswing starts from the ground up and goes all the way to the hands if executed properly.  The kinetic energy/chain is just the transfer of all the built up power from the feet to the legs, to the core to the shoulders and arms, to the hands and finally to the clubhead at impact.
