So, im beginning to play golf regularly, and ill admit im not the best, but im playing with a mix of Dunlop and pinseeker clubs which are just awful, so im looking around ebay for some decent second hand clubs, can anyone recommend any for less than 20 pound? looking for woods, and a hybrid mainly, thanks

In my sig, the driver I have I paid $25 US at a pawn shop( with the original shaf; I later had it reshafted). The 2 Callaway Hybrids were bought from an individual for $25 each. I also have a Titleist 905T pawn shop aquisition that I bought for $50, and an Orlimar 3 wood with a graphite shaft I paid about $30 for in the used bin at a major golf outlet. You should be able to find reasonably good name brand clubs for 20 pounds or less each; 20 pounds total for 2 or 3 is a bit of a stretch. Ebay is a good source, but were you to get 3 clubs from 3 different sellers, the shipping alone might approach 20 pounds. Today 20 pounds is about $31, and you could probably find 6-8 year old stuff in that range with a bit of scrounging. Pawn shops are where I have had luck as they don't generally put much into golf clubs and are usually eager to turn them. Expect to need about 5-8 pounds per club to regrip. At the used bin at some of the golf retailers, you can sometimes find one recently regripped or negotiate the grip into the price. Golf is their business, so sometimes the price will be a bit higher. The drivers I bought were 7-10 years old but in great shape; the hybrids 4-5 years old in excellent condition with headcovers, but I bought them from a friend. As far as recommendations, I would recommend a 3 or 4 wood with about 14-16 degrees of loft and 1 or 2 hybrids with 20-25 degrees. In hybrids, I have a 20 and 23 and like them, but you might like a touch more loft. Orlimar, Titleist, Taylor, and Callaway are what I like in this range.
