Did anyone catch this yesterday?

I didn't get to see all of it but from what I did see, it's a fun casual tournament where they mic the players. Justin Rose really must have really choked up the back nine because last I checked he had a 4 stroke lead going into it I believe.

CONGRATS to Adam Scott for playing more solid golf and setting the course record.

I shot par on that hole!  4 iron from 185 (next tee up).  Sorry, had to say it.  It is a visual stunner and you get pretty nervous on the tee.

I forgot it was on and only caught the last few holes.  It is the only Pro course I have ever played that has a televised tournament.  It is a fun and beautiful course.

There did not appear to be too much wind, which would really make it a lot harder on the windward side of the course.

The resort next door, The Pompano Beach Club, has golf deals with Port Royal.  I highly recommend this place.  The food was amazing.

    • Day 55: 2026.03.04 Backswing work, trying to pull everything together, slowly at first.
    • Day 519 - 2026-03-04 Got some work in before lessons. Mostly downswing. My backswing is good.
    • Yeah I’ve tried it but I don’t feel very comfortable doing it like that. Isn’t there like a website where I can do it so it’s safer?? I got scammed one time on FBM so I don’t trust it.
    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
