Never had a driver

Hi all. New to golf and this site so I'm looking for some advice! I've only been playing about 6 months and I've as yet not had a driver in my bag. I've concentrated on my 3 wood of the tee and 85% of the time I hit it reasonably well and achieve about 180/200 yards, although I do tend to fade the shot. I've now decided to have a big bat in my bag and have been looking at either the taylormade r1 or new sldr drivers. As I said I hit the ball reasonably well but really struggle with length which I'm told is down to my fade and the fact that I launch the ball, mega high! So, anyone got any advise of how I should spend my loot?
