I have seen a few oddities for which I have contacted Arccos. For instance it recommends clubs and distances that are longer than my averages by up to 20-30m and sometimes suggests taking a PW off the tee on a Par 5.
As said before it is a beta version currently but with work could be very interesting.
I can only speak for myself but if it is a quick process I wouldn't blink an eye. If it helps your game, and doesn't contribute to slow play, it wouldn't bother me.
I'm bothered by the guys that take 4 practice swings, back off of the ball, get a line and then take more practice swings. Or worse yet, wait until it is their turn to take their club out of the bag and then take forever to play.
Course was wet, which was a bit of a surprise since it's up in the mountains and usually drains well. Goes to show just how much rain we had recently.
Spent the first 7 holes or so just straight up hacking it around. I'm not practicing enough or properly or something because I keep forgetting a swing feel until midway through my rounds.
You'll never go wrong with golf around the Gaylord area. Treetops (5 courses), The Loon, Natural, etc. It's less than an hour drive to Forest Dunes from Gaylord. Garland Lodge and Golf Resort is only about 40 minutes from Gaylord. They have four courses on property. Boyne is only about 35 minutes from Gaylord and there are at least 10 courses in the area. I don't think you can go wrong if you are looking for a variety.
