What tape do they use on Ferrule belts?

My favorite 'blue' ferrule 42" belt came apart where they tape the two ends together, I tried to epoxy it back but doesn't hold. They must use some kind of special tape.

Anyone have ideas about what tape to use?

Hmmm. I suppose if I wanted to try to fix it I would get some liquid "Tear Mender" and a piece of cloth. Then I would cut the cloth to the right size (probably 4 inches long?) and cover the cloth with the liquid, put it together with the cloth on the backside, cover with waxed paper, clamp between two boards, and let dry...

Piece of cake. ;-)

Of course I always have Tear Mender, cloth, boards, waxed paper, and clamps handy so I wouldn't have to go get anything.

Then again a new belt doesn't cost very much...(and the Tear Mender might not work).

Thx for the quick reply and (after doing some checking) I was surprised that the belts were so cheap.

      First going to spain for a long weekend in March probably going to play La Quinta, Los Arqueros and Fina Cortesin, and first week in May will compete in the Crawsnest Tassie at Carnoustie golf links, that will be a full week of golf golf golf and more golf.       Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
